Daniel Hesselius will be speaking at this meeting. He has a tremendous amount of aviation experience and knowledge: he is a former USAF test pilot, MD11 Captain, aircraft owner, and even serves as Director of Flight Operations for CU's unmanned aircraft program. He will be discussing the investigation of Pinnacle 3701, of which he was a part.

This meeting is inspired by the AOPA Air Safety Institute, and in turn will feature stores from pilots who have experienced an unsafe event while flying. Pilots will tell their stories, and, more importantly, what they learned from it.
